PROJECT OVERVIEWDo you know that feeling of comfort and joy when you set foot in your best friend's home? That's what you'll feel when you're in Owange. This story-based NFT project comes with a vision to become a safe space where people come to make friends for life and spread ripples of joy.
The word’ Owange’ itself is inspired by Kong Andri’s son (our creator) who would always say owange instead of orange. After the devastating news of Japan 2011 Tsunami, Kong decided to create something that could help contribute to the victims. And that was the beginning of Owange. The main character, Toshiro, was created as a symbol of hope.
Gradually, he realized that his artworks actually made a difference in people’s lives. So he decided to further develop Owange into a brand that will be able to spread more happiness into the world.
Then, long story short, Kong met the other co-founders and they decided to take Owange to the next level, using it as a foundation to build an NFT project where people can not only connect, but also make friends for life.
With a collection of 10,000 Owanges, holders will get special access to NFT drops, exclusive toy collaborations, commercial guidelines, digital and IRL events.
NFT space can be pretty overwhelming, especially with more and more people exposed to the industry and all the grinding culture going on. However, ironically, instead of feeling happy and loved, most people feel lonely.
So our goal for Owange here is to be ‘your Web3 friends’. We want people to feel like they’re coming to their best friend’s home when they come to our Discord community.
