Willy Nillies is an art and narrative focused project featuring characters by Los Angeles illustrator, designer, and tattoo artist Jackson Rabinoff. Willy Nillies will be a featured primary drop on OpenSea. The Willy Nillies art was recently featured in a collaborative event thrown by Puma and FWB DAO, in celebration of Puma's new "Slipstream" shoe launch.
Willy Nillies tells the story of a man who minted NFTs willy nilly until he became an actual clown. Though the team behind Willy Nillies will be doxxed, in the lore of the project, it is founded by Willy Nilly himself, as a means to overcome his poor trading and life decisions. Willy is joined by artist Artsy Fartsy (Jackson Rabinoff), developer Itty Bitty (Zollywood), web 3 consultant Nitty Gritty (David Schaefer), and community manager Walkie Talkie (Cori Cannavino.) Willy Nillies is the first recipient of the "Everybodys Favorites" fellowship, which includes access to a dynamic metadata tech stack built during the Tableland Pilot Program, brand partnership support, and access to merch fulfillment. Willy Nillies holders will get access to future drops by other artists in the cohort, including illustrator Derek Woods, painter Jaxon Demme, and more.
