Pixel Fishing is a generative NFT collection made of 3,000 fully animated sea creatures living on the Ethereum network. The collection is created from over 200 unique, pixel-art sea creatures and over 120 traits.
🌊But under the surface...
Pixel Fishing is built on top of an innovative, time-based, manual reveal system that allows collectors more control over what they ultimately get. The process is simple. The collector starts by minting an unrevealed "Bait" NFT. Then depending on when the owner goes "Pixel Fishing" with their bait by activating the manual reveal process, they will only get certain, season-specific creatures. The "Fishing Seasons" table above shows what the current season is and which creatures can be revealed on any given day. After you've revealed your NFT, if you don't like the creature you fished up, you'll have the ability to release it and rebait (unreveal), and try again. This is just the tip of the iceberg of what we're doing with our time-based, manual reveal system. There will also be time or quantity-limited, fishing events, but more on that later...
